| I hadn't anticipated being out after dark the night I took this photo so I didn't have my flashgun with me. It was illuminated by a single flashlight and was a 1.5second exposure taken through my 600mm lens with a 1.4x converter attached. Thankfully, it sat perfectly still...
Spectacled Owls inhabit dense forests of South and Central America.
