Marsh Wren
Cistothorus palustris
Juvenile - Delaware, USA - July 2002
Marsh Wrens are found throughout North America and are still fairly common but the overall population is declining as suitable wetland habitat is degraded or destroyed.
Juvenile - Delaware, USA - July 2002
Eastern and western populations differ significantly in their vocalisations and, coupled with the slight differences in appearance, could mean that the two forms are actually separate species.
Adult - Delaware, USA - June 2002
