Clark's Grebe
Aechmophorus clarkii
California, USA - May 2006
The ranges of Clark's Grebe and its very similar cogener, the Western Grebe, overlap to a large extent, although Clark's Grebe is much more common in the south and Western Grebe is the more common of the two in the north. Both are found only in western North America.
