I've updated a few of the galleries to include a few of the new photos from the latter half of 2011.  These include: Black-footed Albatross, Mallard, Trumpeter Swan, Canada Goose, Egyptian Goose, Harlequin Duck, Black Turnstone, Lincoln's Sparrow, Savannah Sparrow, Song Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow, Spotted Towhee, Dark-eyed Junco/Oregon Junco, Purple Finch, Orb-weaver spiders, Robberflies, Ladybirds, Mirid Bugs, Planthoppers, Damsel Bugs and Scentless Plant Bugs.

Happy New Year!  I've added December's diary page.  It features a few images from the first couple of days of my recent trip to Florida.  I've still got many 1000's of images to sort through, but hopefully I'll have a full trip report prepared sometime around the end of this month or the beginning of February.

Over the last few months, I've been continuing to convert the old webpages to the new format whenever I have time.  It is a much bigger job than I anticipated and I'm probably only about half way finished.  Still to do are about half the bird galleries (there are about 1000 species in there now...), most of the foreign trip reports and the pre-2009 diary pages.  I've also recently added a couple of new families to the bird galleries (Grallinidae (Mudlarks) & Struthideidae (Australian Mudnesters) and few new species to existing families.  These include:  Crossbill sp., Garden Warbler, Cetti's Warbler, & Red Grouse.

Updated the Bee-eater (Meropidae) Galleries. It now includes Rainbow Bee-eater and previously unpublished images of Little Green Bee-eater, Little Bee-eater and European Bee-eater have been added.

Added 5 species of Australasian Robins to the Petroicidae Gallery.  These include several new photos not previously published in the trip report of my recent trip to Australia.  The species added are: Eastern Yellow Robin, Flame Robin, Jacky Winter, Red-capped Robin and Scarlet Robin.

Added 10 species of Australian mammals to the Mammal Gallery.  These include several new photos not previously published in the trip report of my recent trip to Australia.  The species added are:  Duck-billed Platypus, Short-beaked Echidna, Swamp Wallaby, Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Western Grey Kangaroo, Red-necked Wallaby, Long-nosed Potaroo, Common Wombat, Koala, and Grey-headed Flying-Fox.

The Australian trip report is finally finished and was uploaded this evening.  It contains about 250 photos from my recent trip.  Sorry for the long delay.

The Australian trip report has unfortunately been delayed a bit due to me having to devote most of my free time the last couple of weeks to moving house.  All the photos have now been edited, but I still need to write the text for all the pages. It should hopefully be completed sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Updated the Bird Galleries.  Each family now has its own page and I also added pages for the following species:  Tundra Swan, Snow Goose, Wood Duck, Blue-winged Teal, American Black Duck, African Wattled Plover, Killdeer, Yellow-crowned Night-heron, King Rail, African Jacana, Pheasant-tailed Jacana, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Baird's Sandpiper, Pectoral Sandpiper, Ruff, Bimaculated Lark, Green Woodpecker, Black-billed Magpie, Great Reed Warbler, Eurasian Reed Warbler and Common Whitethroat.  Also added new photos to Green-winged Teal, Mallard, Green-backed Heron and Grasshopper Warbler.
