Good numbers of Goosanders were present at Attenborough throughout December with over 60 on Clifton Pond alone and at least another 20 on the northern ponds.

Back at the feeders, the Marsh Tit failed to make any appearances during the times I was there this month but the Nuthatches are always good entertainment...

We didn't get the significant snowfalls that most of the country saw during December so there was no opportunity for snowy, Christmas card-type Robin photos.
