Argyresthiidae

Argyresthia trifasciata

Attenborough, Nottinghamshire, England - May 2012

Argyresthia trifasciata is one of the commonest moths in my garden in May.  It was first discovered in Britain in 1982 but has since spread widely and is strongly associated with gardens where its coniferous food plants, especially Leyland Cypress and junipers, are present.
