Scarce Silver-lines

Bena bicolorana

Attenborough, Nottinghamshire, England - August 2012

The unmistakable Scarce Silver-lines is fairly frequent in oak woodlands and parklands in England and Wales in a line south of the Humber, although it also occurs locally as far north as Cumbria and has steadily been spreading its range northwards over the last couple of decades.
